La dynastie Mac Sovereign /  The Mac Sovereign dynasty..

Mac Sovereign I : Arthur Kaulfuss, 1882-1955 : le "roi du diabolo" commence sa carrière par le trapèze chez sa tante Miss Selina et se produit pour la première fois en 1891 à l'age de 9 ans. Vers 1920, il invente et présente sur les pistes de cirque " le grand huit", un rail métallique qui permet de faire faire un looping au diabolo. Il est aussi l'inventeur du diabolo musical qu'il faisait chanter en lui faisant frôler un xylophone métallique.

Mac Sovereign I : Arthur Kaulfuss, 1882-1955 : the "king of diabolo" Begann his career on the trapeze of his aunt Miss Selina and performed for the first time in 1891 at the age of 9.

By 1920, he invents and presents in circus  " the loops ", a metallic rail on which diabolos can travel in looping paths. He is also the inventor of a musical diabolo like a metallic xylophone.

Mac Sovereign II:  le neveu d'Arthur Kaulfuss : on retrouve peu d'informations sur Mac Sovereign II. Il revend les accessoires de son spectacle à celui qui deviendra Mac Sovereign III en 1972.

Mac Sovereign II: the son or the nephew of Arthur Kaulfuss: we cannot find much information on Mac Sovereign II. He resold the accessories of his show to the person who would become Mac Sovereign III in 1972.

Mac Sovereign III:  Wolfgang Schnieder, né en 1942, il est décrit comme un "artiste universel" , clown, équilibriste, musicien, jongleur qui s'est produit en France, Allemagne, Autriche, Suisse, Belgique, Italie, Luxembourg... Autodidacte, il entre sur la piste à l'âge de 16 ans, il incarnera Vulkano en cracheur de feu, Ray Johnson en fildefériste, Terry Tex en cowboy ou encore Ogambo en humoriste jongleur. Il est particulièrement connu et reconnu pour son numéro de clown musical dans lequel il incarne Fax et un numéro de diabolo où il endosse le nom de Mac Sovereign, nouveau roi du diabolo.

Il rachète les accessoires de Mac Sovereign II en 1972 et Elsa Sovereign, épouse de Mac Sovereign I, autorise Scnieder à utiliser le nom de Mac Sovereign.

Mac Sovereign III: Wolfgang Schnieder, 1942- 

Mac Sovereign III: Wolfgang Schnieder, born in 1942,  is described as a " universal artist ", a clown, an equilibrist, a musician, a juggler who performs in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg... Self-taught, he entered  the circus arena at the age of 16, his stage characters including Vulkano the fire-eater, Ray Johnson,  equilibrist, Terry Tex the cowboy or Ogambo in humorist juggler. He is particularly known and recognized for his musical clown act in which he embodies Fax and a diabolo number where he assumes the name of Mac Sovereign, new king of the diabolo.

He acquires Mac Sovereign II's accessories in 1972  and Elsa Sovereign, wife of Mac Sovereign I, authorizes Scnieder to use the name of Mac Sovereign.

Le Petit Musée du diabolo fait revivre des objets oubliés des numéros d'antan, ainsi la réalisation de ce grand huit basé sur les différentes photographies de cet objet centenaire.

The Little Museum of the diabolo brings back to life objects from times gone by that have been forgotten, such as this diabolo railway based on various photos of this hundred-years-old object.

Arthur Kaulfuss (Mac Sovereign 1) est aussi l'inventeur du "Bungee Prop" qu'il présente pour la première fois en 1907 dans le Winter Garten à Berlin.
